TUSD Holds Community Meeting and Workshop
for Tustin High School Master Plan

The Tustin Unified School District is holding a community meeting and workshop on the master plan for Tustin High School on Saturday, April 12. The meeting will be held from 9 a.m. to noon in the school’s cafeteria, 1171 El Camino Real. The public is invited.

The purpose of the meeting is to receive community input, identify issues, develop goals and assist in establishing priorities on the master-planning of Tustin High for future modernization projects, as part of the Measure G campus improvements program.

“The master plan will be the ‘road map’ for future facility improvements to the campus,” TUSD Facilities and Planning Manager David Miranda said.

Tustin High was originally constructed in 1921 and has had many additions and some demolition of outdated facilities throughout the years. The most recent permanent buildings were constructed in the 1960s.

Measure G was approved by the voters in 2002 to repair and renovate the 20 oldest schools in the Tustin school district.
